Description: FAITH: We want children to experience God’s deep, unconditional love. Through stories, music and fun interactive lessons at Children’s Chapel, we explore how God shows us His love and how we can share that love with others. In the classroom, teachers share stories, songs and interact with children in ways that demonstrate and reinforce these important lessons. FUN: Research proves what we’ve known all along—children learn best through play! Our well rounded curriculum includes activities in Math, Literacy, Science, Spanish, P.E., Music, Art, Centers and MORE! Teachers have the flexibility to draw from a variety of resources to meet the needs of individual students. We have FUN events for the FAMILY, too—Spaghetti Dinner for kids and dads and Mother’s Tea for kids and moms are highlights of the year and bring special memories that will last a lifetime. FRIENDS: The social and emotional aspect of development is a very important component of the preschool experience. Children meet one-on-one with their teachers before school starts, helping both parents and children to feel a little more comfortable on the first day of school. Small class sizes with two loving, qualified staff in each class allows relationships between students and teachers to blossom and grow.

When looking for a preschool program there were many factors that I considered. Curriculum and costs were the obvious factors but I also was interested in the passion of the teachers, organization of the director, and the caring family environment of the program. I found all that and more at Calvary Preschool. The director Kimberly Case knew all the kids names and greeted them every morning. The teachers not only were interested in my kids but the weekly emails kept me informed as to what they were creating and learning in the classroom. Other factors that led me to choose Calvary was each class attended weekly gym time and monthly chapel time. Calvary quickly became a second home to my 2 and 4 year old.. Class sizes are intimate as my 2 year olds class was 10 kids with 2 teacher and my 4 year olds class was 14 with 2 teachers. The special traditions like a Spaghetti Dinner for Dads and the Mother’s Tea are just a few examples of Calvary creating special family memories. As someone with a Masters in Early Childhood Education, I was picky of the right preschool for my family and Calvary surpasses all expectations. I will forever sing their praises.
Don't enroll at Calvary Preschool. I enrolled my daughter in June and dis-enrolled her in July and they refuse to refund not only the $100 registration fee, but also the first month's tuition. Not one service was even rendered by them because school didn't even start until September. They filled her spot, so they were not out anything. I could understand keeping the registration fee, but the first whole month which for us was $330 is totally uncalled for. I have written to the board at the preschool and they say that is their policy. They do not care one little bit. What does that sound like to you? It sounds like incredible greed and horrible customer service to me. I researched other preschools and this is the highest penalty I could find for dis-enrolling in Colorado Springs. The only other one that came close still offered half the first month's tuition back which was $120. So be very cautious about policies because human decency escapes Calvary Preschool.
