Calvary Chapel West Oahu Preschool desires to help your child grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, mentally, and physically in a happy, safe, and nurturing environment. Our goal is to ensure that the children in our care have many opportunities to : 1. Experience the love and greatness of God by learning over 25 bible topics as well as engaging in daily prayers and scripture memorization. 2. Form sound character by practicing the fruits of the spirit according to Galatians 5:22 : love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, and self-control. 3. Establish genuine friendships among peers by learning how to cooperate, take turns, verbalize feelings, solve problems, share, and care. 4. Gain independence by practicing self-help skills. 5. Develop math and reading readiness along with fine motor skills, by engaging in activities such as number, letter, color, and shape recognition as well as cutting, pasting, painting, writing, and drawing. 6. Exercise creative thinking and decision making by participating in art, music, science, and social studies activities. 7. Build strong and healthy bodies by engaging in daily gross motor activities along with having nutritious snacks and lunches.
