About the Provider

Description: Tommie F. Brown Academy is a downtown work-site magnet school located in the heart of downtown Chattanooga near the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Brown Academy opened its doors to students in August 2002. The school is named for former Representative Dr. Tommie F. Brown (district 28). In addition to its magnet students the school also serves an attendance zone.

We are proudly supported by First Christian Church which offers weekly after school learning communities for students in grades 3-5 for enrichment activities.
