My kids have gone to brother bear since my son was in the infant room (now 5yrs). They love it and so do I! Keep in mind that most the post of negative is the past staff that got fired for being just as they described themselves in their comments. Now that they are gone its wonderful. Oh and really your child went their as well and until you were fired you as well as your children LOVED IT! No other daycare has done holiday programs, no other daycre has had the owner and staff go above and beyond and pull money out of their own pockets so that ALL kids could do the 4 days. A week summer field trips so they are not just stuck at a center everyday. Elitches, museum, candy factory, parks, sports Authority field Spaghetti FFactory! Im a parent that believes in a clean safe place for my kids. Brother bear is it!!! I was excited when they started participating in the Colorado preschool program! And to the other comments they are open because they have not been seen unfit to be open.
This center is wonderful. The owner is constantly putting in time to make sure the center and it's teachers are up to date to all regulations and expectations. She has also worked with children for a long time and you can tell that she truly cares about the kids. She has high expectations of her staff and works hard to make sure all needs are met. I know for a fact that the children are cared for and reports are sent home for all children indicating when they where changed, Fed, and when they slept. They really do care about the kids there I love it!
My son and I love this place! The staff is wonderful and caring. They are also very honest and blunt. I love that they are straight to the point. My son loves going to school as we call it(Daycare). Everyone time I pick him up he tells me about all the fun things they did for that day. This summer they had field trips and my son just loved it and had to tell me about riding the in the bus like a big boy! My son and I have had a turbulent first few year and this place was a god send and helped us through a lot. Thank you so much Brother Bear for being there for us. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.
I have had all 4 of my children go through brother bear in the past 7 years. They have always take great care of them. My kids love and loved it here. The staff is great and so is everything that they do there. I highly recommend it here for any parent to bring their children.
We have had nothing but good experiences with Brother Bear. They are very nice folk's and bend over backwards to help with the children. We have 2 grandchildren there full time and another one during the summer and they are just excellent! The kid's love all of the teachers, and they learn something every single day. They enjoy going every single day! What a wonderful group of folk's here!
This place is HORRIBLE AWFUL DISGUSTING!!! I know that when you look at the prices of this daycare compared to others, it seems great because it's cheaper. But do keep in mind you get what you pay for. And in this instance you will get a horrible daycare with which you wish you had never stepped foot onto the property. The management is horribly disrespectful and rude. They have told me and my mother off and hung up on us many times when we have called in. They don't take care of the children there. I have noticed that they have developed "favorites" in the class which then they don't take care of all the children because they don't like them as much as the others. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this daycare. They have horrible reviews everywhere you look and complaints out on them as well.
This center was a terrible mistake. As a Parent I take my responsibilities in providing for my children very seriously. If I knew now what I didn't know then I would not have the guilt of making my two small children attend this center. My infant always had a full diaper when I picked her up. Prior to being cared for here she had never had a severe diaper rash. After being here a couple weeks, she had severe diaper rashes on a consistent basis. I began marking her diapers and to my surprise she was never changed in the 8 hours she was there on numerous occasions. My toddler would come home filthy and often had suspicious bruising and bite marks and complained that her teacher was mean to her and yelled at her. She would complain that she pulled her thumb. Things a small child would not know to make up. At first, I thought they disliked the center because it was a change from in home care and they needed to adjust. I gave it much too long before I began noticing the neglectful conditions they were subjected to. The diapers I brought in seemed to disappear very quickly, especially considering my daughter was not always changed throughout the day. My concerns were dismissed by the director who is more about the bottom line herself then actually providing quality care. And believe me my payments were always on time. On one occasion I heard her speaking with her colleagues about "beaners" at that point I immediately pulled my latina children from the center.
After the fact I pulled their reports and have seen the countless violations they have had. How they are still open is beyond me. As a mother I feel guilty for subjecting my children to this center. Do not risk your children's safety and health or your peace of mind!

this place is horrible never take you kids here they are nasty, unclean, the teachers don't properly take care of your children the managers are disrespectful to parents and their staff they have had a teacher sent to jail for hitting another child, expect your child to come home filthy and its not just the older kids baby's to! i can go on and on just remember this is not the place for your children the chances of something happening is HIGH!!!!
I was very skeptical about child care centers when I 1st brought my girls to Brother Bear. Since then my mind has been put at ease. My girls have fun and are in good spirits when I pick them up. The teachers are very friendly and my 4 year old always has good things to say about her day. They do fun art activities, feild trips, and I get a paper report everyday on how the little one does. I feel my children are cared for and safe when I am at work! Thanks, brother bear.
