Brookside Learning Center

Brookside Learning Center is a high quality family-owned child care facility operating in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The Center accepts children from 6 weeks through five years old. Established in 1997, Brookside has always worked very hard to offer the highest quality of child care available.

BLC offers almost 5000 square feet of designed, sized, and decorated space for the children to explore and learn. The Center is divided into 5 separate classrooms that are grouped together by age. Each classroom contains multiple activity centers, a private restroom, hand washing sink, refrigerator, large windows, and a direct exit to the outside of the building. Whether your child is outside playing or inside learning, you can feel rest assured that your child is in good hands.

Brookside believes that the most important years of a child's brain development and learning patterns occur from infancy to age five. The Brookside educational curriculum, based on over 30 years experience with early childhood learning, is aimed at total child development. The Brookside curriculum combines learning with fun activities incorporating interactive exercises.

The children at Brookside receive personal attention, guidance, and the opportunity to experience developmentally appropriate activities including reading, math, science, art, music, computers, fine-motor, dramatics, blocks, gross-motor, and problem-solving challenges on a daily basis.
