Mrs. Yvonne and Mr. Mack does a great job running the Brite Shining Star Child Development and Learning Center. My youngest daughter attended the facility for pre-school from summer of '18 to spring of '19. What most impressed me most about Brite Shining Stars is that Mrs. Yvonne and her staff takes time to diligently teach and instruct their kids in preparation for grade school. During instruction time, evidently computer programming of some sort was used as well. There were many of times my daughter would tell me of computer activities that she engaged in during class time. Sometimes my daughter even brought home homework, which is unheard of for pre-school. My daughter never came home and complained of the staff, only her peers, lol.
Although my daughter is no longer attending the day care, Mrs. Yvonne and Mr. Mack is now providing their services of a different nature for both of my daughters who are 5 and 10. After school, Mr. Mack goes and picks up our daughters amongst other kids, from their school. After retrieving the kids from the sundry schools in the area, he drops our kids off at their destination. I can't tell you how much this means to me, inasmuch as my wife and I are working during these times. 'Preciate what y'all do for our kids madam and sir.
If you work or live in the vicinity of Spring Lake, I would most assuredly recommend Brite Shining Star Child Development and Learning Center for your child care services.
my son (Tyler) and i love this place sooooo much!! if i dont have to move to another state i will never take my son out! i can say i will never find another place like this one! they cares for my child like their own!
The family that owns the daycare is a very loving and caring family. I looked around for a daycare for my son for a while and as soon as I walked in and met the family I knew that is where I wanted to take my son. Mrs McNeil worked with me and my schedule and was always there when I needed her, no matter how early it was. My son is a picky eater and they went above and beyond to accommodate his eating habits. I felt very comfortable dropping my son off here every day and very confident that he was getting the best of care possible throughout the day. I would recommend this daycare to anyone who is looking for a loving family to care for their kids.
I was blessed to find this daycare. The owners were the best most accommodating daycare that I have ever come in contact with. When my work schedule changed to early morning, they were there with no additional fees and in the evening, the same. My son was enrolled here for 6 years and was taken care of just like he was family. Everyday, my son was learning something productive. Great daycare, great people, great environment, great price, great service...........
The owners are two of the greatest people I know. They have been there for me more than anyone could ever imagine. Being a single mom they eased my life. Always willing to help going above and beyond what most daycare providers would have done. Keeping my children late and never asking for an extra dime, money was never the issue for them only the well being of my children. My son who hates vegetables still to this day talks about the carrots at the daycare. They were always much more than daycare providers to me they were more like family. Never could I have made it if it were not for having them in my life. I trust my children to them above anyone.
I"m a employee of Brite Shining Stars Child Development Center. just want to say I'm blessed to be working at such a great center. The owners are kind,caring,giving people who care about the children and parents they serve. They are always professional and hardworking and know how to run a childcare center. The center is a safe,caring,clean environment. The meals and snacks are nutritious and good. I thank God for the owners and their center.I would recommend them to my family and friends if they are looking for a quality child care center.
My children have attended this daycare for many many years. The staff is always professional, and caring. There were numerous times when i picked up my kids while having snack(which was healthy)and i have dropped off my kids while lunch was being prepared and you could just smell the goodness from the kitchen. when i ask my kids what did they have thet would say stuff like corn, greens, mac n cheese, meatballs,watermelon,strawberries every now and then they will say they had a cupcake because it was someones birthday. This is a exellent daycare, and they make you feel like family, i have never had a issue in the 12 years they have provided care for my children. Keep up the good work:)
