About the Provider

Bright Start daycare has full-time openings for children 6 weeks to 12 years. Interested parents are invited to contact Gretchen Biggerstaff at 244-2462 to fill out a pre-enrollment form. Bright Start childcare has been rated 3 stars by the Illinois Department of Human Services Child Care Assistance Program Quality Counts Quality Rating System (QRS). QRS assists Illinois child care programs in providing quality care for children and their families. A provider's participation in QRS means they have gone the extra mile to help make sure children are receiving an enhanced learning and day care experience. Quality care can help children succeed in school and in life. A QRS Award recognizes a provider for meeting specific indicators of quality. It is an accomplishment to be shared with families served and the community. Rooms are separated by age group: infants, toddlers, two-year-olds, pre-shool, and a school aged. Each room has age appropriate learning centers which include toys that facilitate learning through play.
