Description: We take great pride in the programs we teach here at Bright Eyes. We feel that learning takes place at all ages and that all children need to be challenged to reach their full learning potential. We strive to make learning fun and enjoyable as well as structured and stimulating. Our infant, toddler and two year old programs follow the Creative Curriculum. Our teachers are committed to making your child feel welcome and motivated to learn new things. Our teachers make their own lesson plans that are approved by the director to ensure that the teachings are appropriate per age group. The children follow the same daily routine each day to help the children understand repetition. The children in these classrooms will do circle time, story time, arts and crafts, sign language and so much more. Your probably thinking, all this with infants too? Yes, we feel that this helps the children with social and cognitive skills to be included in each activity. All children get to go outside on weather permitting days and when the weather is not so nice, our teachers plan activities to do indoors to keep the children motivated and active.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

I used to work at bright eyes childcare in Urbana. DONT TAKE YOUR KIDS THERE. they don't care about your kids at all. The staff is great, but the owners don't even transition kids into rooms. They have so many kids wanting to start, that they force the kids into a different room before they are even that age to fit more kids into the center which means more $$$$. I used to hear them cry because they got put into a room that they didn't know so that they could get the money from the new kid coming in. And occasionally I noticed that staff younger than 18 would be alone with the kids for hours. I worked there for 6 months before I was finger printed and background checked. I wouldn't take time out of my day to write this if I wasn't being truthful. I quit because it made me sick working there. It makes me sick when I hear bright eyes commercials and after working there,i will never put my kids into a daycare.
