Booker Young Scholars Center

Booker Young Scholars Center is a DHS licensed Christian family child care center with openings for 7 children ages 6 weeks-5 years. Located in a beautiful rural farm setting, we provide a stimulating learning environment for infants and children. We achieve this through a diversified curriculum which provides experiences for the development of language, gross motor, fine motor, social/personal, cognitive and self-help skills. Activities to meet these objectives are essentially fun-oriented and include music, dramatic play, story time, learning centers, outdoor play, individual tutoring and group activities. The Booker family is well known in Williamson county. Owner, Sherry Booker Reynolds is proud of the legacy of education passed on to her by her parents. All 12 Booker children graduated from a prestigious roll-call of colleges including Harvard University, Georgetown, Brigham Young, Fisk University, University of Kentucky, Vanderbilt University, and several others. Sherry previously owned and operated Booker Young Scholars Center on West Main Street in Franklin, TN for 7 years. She has taught on the university level, worked as a respiratory therapist for over 25 years, and served as a CPR instructor for the American Red Cross.
