Facility person #1 proceeded to pick up two infants and then allowed child #1, a young toddler, to walk outside in front of her barefoot onto the hot pavement. Child #1 was standing on the pavement for approximately 10 seconds before being picked up and the bottoms of his feet were burned and needed to be medically treated as a result.

Correction Required: The legal entity must arrange for all facility staff to receive a minimum of three hours in-person PQAS approved training regarding supervision of children. The legal entity must receive DHS approval of the training content prior to scheduling the training. The legal entity must submit documentation showing attendance by all staff.
