Big Blue Marble Academy

I have a close friend who's child attends Big Blue Marble Academy in Irmo, SC. She says the teachers are good, but when I visited her I noticed human bite marks (arm, face, back, leg...etc) on her son who is under 2yrs old. She let me know he has been getting bitten almost daily by another child who attends the academy. She has let the teachers know about each and every time its happened. The most shocking part is, its happened close to a dozen times and NO real actions have been taken. She's not even sure if the school has notified the other child's parents. Being a parent, I  think its very important for both parents to be notified, there should be some sort of sit down and possible expulsion being its happened close to a dozen times. No telling what diseases can be past threw biting, especial if skin was broken. Just horrible. I felt I needed to share. Hopefully some actions will be taken now!

We have been attending in this facility for 2 months only. My child has been expelled cause he had disobedience problem, and yelled and hit, as they would say, although they has been not provided with the specific (detailed) reasons why he did it. They refused to have it yesterday, although we have paid till Friday. I had to quit my job to get him and stay at him at home until we find a better care. I was very disappointed , when I go there he had a bad scab near his eye, they did not know what it was, and it was not the first time he had brouses and scratches on his face without them having any idea about it. We are looking for a new day care provider and we lost money, time and patience coming to school and talking to him. He acts normal at home. My advice to the management: Please have more qualified staff and polite attitude towards kids and parents.
