I have been using this facility for my child for such a long time now I loved it but currently at this point in time I don’t. they have hired a new staff member that luckily isn’t my child’s teacher but every time I’m in the daycare I do notice her . she’s constantly yelling at the children she doesn’t seem to care for the children . She’s very dirty I have seen her many times in the morning eating the children’s breakfast right off the cart even snacks in the afternoon she’s always sitting or laying down I don’t see how she can be left to take care of the children . She’s a big older lady its sad to see that she doesn’t care for our children in the center .
My daughter attended this daycare for a year and a half. I’m the beginning it was a lot of working out the kinks and only small situations that were quickly resolved by the management. However after MULTIPLE childcare teachers were quitting the center went down hill very quick. Ms. Alivia, the teacher that was with my child made a choice to pull a riding toy out from under my child instead of removing her properly as a result of that my daughter came home with a busted lip that was swollen and bleeding. I was very upset and asked to review the tapes.... well to my surprise the videos went down that day. My child was also bitten multiple times by the same child multiple times that drew blood at the bite site, this child was 2 and should have never been with the 4 year olds, this situation continued on to my niece that also attended the school. Upon arriving to the school and inquiring about the bite, I was treated horribly by one of the teachers after I got the director on the phone to explain. Ms. Brown, a teacher that was assigned to my child’s class that morning proceeded to try to shut the door in my face and told me to get out of her face as I was standing still in the doorway speaking to the director on the phone, this was said by this teacher in front of the children! As another teacher attempted to ask me to move to her classroom to avoid “anything stupid” from happening, I was told by and. Brown that she wasn’t going to do anything stupid in front of the children. How sad that this facility is so under staffed and can not keep teachers that they allow these two teachers that have actually stayed to treat the children and the parents any way they choose. I am placing a call to DCF today, and this is NOT the first call they have had in the short year and a half they have been open! I hope that parents look into this facility before they enroll their child as I was fooled about the quality of care my child received. My child has been placed in another facility and hopefully this verbal and physical abuse will stop!
On 12/28/17 I dropped my 2 year old toddler who has a communication delay off to day care, when I picked him up his right eye was swollen with abrasions on the top & bottom. I asked the teacher what happened to my child eye her reply was I don’t know! I call her Mrs. I don’t know because they never know when something happens or how it happens... There has been a few occasions where I have dropped my child off to the day care & for 10/11 hours when I go to pick him up he had been in the same pull up all day his diaper would be soaking wet to the point where urine from the diapers will have his pants soaking wet as well as his car seat from the diapers being soaking wet!! There has been many instances where I go to pick up My 8month old infant and he’d be laying in the back of the classroom in a pack & play with a bottle!! They have cameras but the cameras doesn’t show wether my child injuries were accidental or self inflicted! How can you put a child down for nap then they just wake up with bruises!! I received no phone call there was no incident report filled out... I was in the hospital with my baby all night all he says is ouch it hurt mommy This day care is a big fat joke!! “We feed the children organic food”so they say when in reality they feed them nothing but can goods... They have since took down there Facebook page the owner Lori would comment then delete them.. I am aware that there is a long waiting list for most of the good day cares in the area take my wise advice & send your children else where! ( sorry that this is all over the place my head is all over the place right now We need answers !
