Description: The YMCA of Central Kentucky offers school age child care programs for children in grades K - 5 and middle school at 8 school sites in Fayette County, 2 YMCA Facility locations and in Scott County. Our programs provide care for your child with valuable social and scholastic skills in a safe, fun, and supervised environment. Programs include homework help, healthy snacks, enrichment activities in art & science & math, and physical activity. YMCA facility programs offer sports and swim lessons throughout the year as an option.
An enrichment program focusing on homework support, physical activity and the arts is offered at the High Street YMCA for 2 hours each afternoon.
Community Trust Bank and Community Trust Bank and Investment Company are the official sponsors of the Y’s afterschool and enrichment programs. Through this generous sponsorship, the Y can provide essential financial assistance to families who need quality childcare but cannot afford it.
