This school is absolutely terrible.
Nancy Larios is the one who assisted to enroll my children there. At first a man was helping me, then referred me to her because I "made too much". Both my kids were enrolled for an entire school year same classroom, half a day from 8-11:30AM.
Before the school year ended early March I enrolled my daughter in kinder at a different school site. Nancy informed me multiple times that full day wasn't available for my son anywhere else but their location.
She said that if I insist on having my son in school I had to pay a fee, which I did no problem. Both kids need to attend a school.
While my daughter was on summer vacation I was paying for my son to go to school to make sure he "keeps his spot".
I later called the district office to confirm first day of school for my daughter at Sunkist elementary,, and figured I'd ask them about TK. Confirm that there is no full day for my son to attend.
They informed me that I was given incorrect information from The Erwin site, that they don't understand why they would say that, when they were even given flyers out to inform parents.
I let Nancy know how fuatrated I was about the information, and she insisted that the district is giving me false information, she even laughed. I called their office to also inform them, and a lady who answered even laughed and said, "sorry hunny, you have the wrong info"....
Turn out Erwin early child development is terrible. They don't know what they are doing, teachers are terrible, teacher curse doing class time, and when confronted about it, they laugh... they pay no attention to the students, the classrooms are depressing. Teachers and staff have a lot of unnecessary attitude.
I went to make my monthly payment to pay for my sons school. They moved to a temporary office over at the adult school. No teachers new how to get there, it took me 15 minutes to find the temp office. I was running late for work, even a teacher from the adult school was helping me. I called the office and asked them
To assist me, they didn't know how to get there, they weren't sure if it was room#B or C... I asked the lady to please meet me outside so we can walk there together and she said she couldn't... finally after 15 min looking for it I found it at the very back on the bungalows. I walked in two lady's and one man were there. I told the lady it'd be great if they can have signs up, it took me forever to find you.
I informed the lady I had to make a payment, turns out the receipts so was suppose to give me didnt have for cut out. She then started laughing and chit chatting with the other lady in the office. I looked at the lady and said " I don't want to be rude, but I'm running late for work. It took me 15 min to find your temp office"... she put the pen and notebook with receipts on the desk, crosses her arms and said. "Do you want your receipt or not." Of course I want my receipt I informed her if she can please get scissors and cut out my copy I can't stay any longer. She looked at me and said you are being rude, as a matter of fact you're being a "B"... I said a b****? She said yeah, you are being that. I laughed and told her I don't have time for this.
She then informed me that she is doing me a favor by writing me a receipt because that is NOT HER JOB...
rude rude rude, unprofessional, disrespectful, staff overall. I informed Nancy I was taking my son out of there asap, and she said, you still have to make the fist and last month payment. And we need a two week notice.
None of this was informed to me.
Cheap teachers, cheap service, cheap staff.
I'll keep paying 1000 for both my kids for a legitimate child care.
Yes I did call there supervisor Yolanda Orosco, who informed me she will definitely have a meeting with them.... hopefully she did.
Her staff need good training.
