Goals of Atonement Preschool:
Spiritual: To convey an awareness of God’s love, and an appreciation of God’s world.
Social-Emotional: We encourage each child to grow as a unique individual while learning to interact among their peers.
Cognitive: We continually explore our environment to help every child understand their world. Through various planned activities we make discoveries in the areas of science, math, social studies, and language.
Language: Speech is focused on through books, music, finger plays, story telling and puppetry. An alphabet “Letter of the Week” will help prepare children for kindergarten.
Gross Motor: We play games and participate in activities that include running, jumping, throwing, climbing, and balancing each day.
Fine Motor: Puzzles, games, beads, blocks, Legos, etc. are readily available during free play to give our children a chance to exercise their smaller muscles and improve their eye-hand coordination.
