The Early Learning Center utilizes the Creative Curriculum to develop and implement lesson plans each week that meet the learning needs of each child. Our focus areas of development are: Social Emotional, Physical, Language, Cognitive, Literacy, Mathematics, Science and Technology, and the Arts.

It is the mission of the Atlantic Avenue Early Learning Center to provide a fully integrated day care program designed to foster the child's social and emotional, physical, language and cognitive development. In addition, a sequential learning curriculum will be delivered to prepare each child for academics in kindergarten and elementary school.

The Atlantic Avenue Early Learning Center strives to foster children's growth and development. We support parents with building strong parenting skills and community social service linkages that meet the family's health, educational and economic needs, and strengthen the family's ties to the local community. We are continuously responding to family and community building in a coordinated manner with other community resources. We also offer Early Headstart/Headstart programs.
