About the Provider
Description: Founded in 1886, Associated Early Care and Education - Jamaica Plain is one of the five oldest early childhood education programs in the United States, and second oldest in Massachusetts (the first is Associated's Sunnyside center). The first early care and education center to be located in a public housing development, Jamaica Plain joined the Associated family in 1956, and currently serves 85 multi-ethnic preschoolers. The program was accredited by NAEYC in 2003.
