It was observed that standing water was in a small tub on the cement riding area of the playground. The water was removed during the visit today. A child was given over the counter medication without written authorization from a parent to follow the direction of the NC State Health Director during a public health emergency and/or the authorization did not contain the required information. I observed an over the counter Desitin ointment in Space 7 that stated the amount as "as needed". The parent was notified and scanned a copy of the permission to administer medication during the visit. The parent scanned the permission to administer back to the school during the visit today. The permission was taken to the classroom and placed with the medication. The vioaltion was corredted during the visit today. | |||

The fence and gate on the back playground that goes ou to the circle driveway does not match up completely to secure the gate hook. The opening was more than 3 inches. Ms. Rash called fence representative today during the visit to come out and repair the gate. | |||

There is a hump that goes across the floor. Teachers have tried to rearrange the furniture to cover as much as possible. This poses a tripping hazard in a classroom with children who have special needs and possible balance issues. | |||
