Very nonchalant(short cut blonde head older woman should work at a prison instead) my baby was injured with no call but was told I was called and voice-mail full, however had great reception no full voice-mail. I called to check in and found out. He had 3 other unexplained bruises. He wasn't there but maybe 2 hours on his first day of daycare and it was a terrible experience already. Literally act like oh well get in line. You're getting paid to care for a parents most precious creation. It's not a job you do for money because all it comes with but the aura of staff is scary. One day and it was a wrap there. Money wasted but found somewhere else that actually shows warmth.
The owner of this "facility" is MISERABLE!!! She sits at the front desk and patiently waits for problems to occur so she can have a reason to combat parents. Instead of doing what she can to provide quality childcare!
First of all, Applegate Academy is a great place for children (infant to after school). I have three (3) children under the age of ten (10) years old that have attended Applegate Academy on going since infancy. My children have always absolutely loved attending Applegate Academy. During breaks from school, my children request to go to Applegate Academy and are sad when the plan is not to go to Applegate during a particular break from school. My children have all had the same teachers at Applegate Academy. This is unheard of with a lot of childcare provider centers.The staff at Applegate Academy have provided my children with love and care. My children have benefited from attending Applegate Academy socially and educationally. My children have all participated in the pre-k programs at Applegate Academy and they were prepared for kindergarten. All of my children's kindergarten teachers were impressed and acknowledged how prepared my children were for kindergarten. My children now attend after school and summer camp programs at Applegate Academy and they continue to be successful academically in elementary school.The staff is always friendly and polite. I only wish that Applegate Academy had a program for teeneagers. Maybe that is something that could be considered for the future. Applegate Academy is a wonderful place for children.
