This is also happening to someone close to me and they have NEVER been talked to about anything...just handed a piece of paper. How is suspending a 3 year old even remotely thought of when children at that age dont even underestand it?? Communication is VERY absent from your facility. There are also people I have encountered myself that in my opinion shouldn't even be working there because theyvery grumpy with NO patience. People like this should not be working with children.
If a childs name was pronounced incorrectly I sincerely apologize but with the different spellings of names it is possible and the parent should have let us know the correct pronouncing. As for the child being suspended without notice..that did happen. The child was violent towards others and we will not jeopardize the safety of the group and will send them home promptly if they are making it a dangerous situation for others. The parents are talked with about the childs behavior and warned that if it continues they will be withdrawn..which is what happened in this case. The fees/co pays were paid monthly at that time and was under$50..which only covered 2 days and the rest was paid by the state. I do hope this child is getting medical care that is helping him and that he is happy.
My child was never called by his correct name the entire time he was enrolled. He was suspended multiple times, without notice or warning, and then was disenrolled without notice or warning. I was never given any documentation or help regarding my child's behavioral issues. Other then hand written on scrap paper by employees what "bad things" my child had done that day. The same person was never available to speak to upon pick up, and no one knew how he'd been that morning by that afternoon. My child was recently diagnosed as ADHD, and I am well aware of hyperactivity being a handfull, as well as, the lack of focus and inability to sit still. I began working with a doctor, and child psychologist to treat as well as medicate my child. Upon first learning of this, I was told that they would "work with me". A week later I was told, "You know tomorrow is you child's last day, right?". Awesome. I am a single mother and work full time. I missed work on several occassions, but still had to pay for the month's tuition in full when he was "not allowed" to go. I felt very disrespected, so when my child never wanted to stay when I dropped off I began to wonder how he was treated if I felt that way the short time I was there to pick up and drop off. Now, almost a month later, I have finally chosen alternative child care and am waithing on paperwork and enrollment procceses.
