Description:
Since 1978, our San Francisco state-licensed children center has been a “Home Away from Home” for infants from 2 weeks to 3 years old. Over the years, our day care family has expanded drastically and the relationship between parents, the children, and our staff is our top priority.
I believe that with good communication between our staff and parents, and consistency with the children routines, the children will develop trusting relationhips so they can develop to their fullest potential. Once trust is built, the children can explore our environment independently, learn to overcome challenges on thier own time, and make individual associations based on thier play experiences.
All children are unique and we achieve our goals by maintaining consistency with our teachers, encourage parents to work together with our staff as well as with other parents for feedback. We provide a safe environment for exploration and interaction by ensuring small groups, infant CPR/First Aid certified staff, and maintaing low teacher/child ratios (1:3),
Our primary cargivers are committed to nurturing our youngest children through individualzed care and daily explorations of age appropriate activities including music, singing, and books.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
