Description: Children can attend our program from ages 2 1/2 to 5 years old. Researchers agree that while intelligence is not fixed at birth, the greater part of intellectual development occurs before the age of six. Intelligence can be stimulated by a growing input of sensory stimulus. The child needs to move, manipulate, explore and store impressions to be classified by him later on. AMS fulfills these needs to help a child grow intellectually, emotionally and socially.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

My daughter had the misfortune to attend Amy Montessori during 2010 and 2011. What she told me about her preschool teacher, Christine Danneman is appalling. My daughter said that kids were constantly mean to her and made faces at her. Christine Danneman saw them but did nothing to stop them. Kids were dismissed for recess depending on their behavior. My daughter , who is a quiet and well behaved child, was always dismissed last. Around Christmas time, kids painted an ornament which represented them. Christine Danneman only provided them with black or white paints. When my daughter, who is South Asian , picked the white paint, Christine Danneman laughter at her and said "that is not your skin color" and picked up the black paint and said "that is your skin color". If I had known, I would have pulled her out of that school. I will be consulting a lawyer about this. My daughter said that there were many other instances during which Christine Danneman displayed her unkindness and racist behavior. If you are any race except White, keep your children away from Christine Danneman and Amy Montessori.
