Description: AMICUS II, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) agency that provides education and supportive services to students and families. Additionally we are a consultant company that provides educational training for Businesses, Organization and School Districts. We are also registered in the States of Michigan and Ohio (and soon Indiana and Kentucky) as a (SES) Title 1 – Supplemental Service Provider. Our educational programs are engineered with the steadfast belief that success in school is a function of enthusiasm, motivation, and state of the art resources. Our education sessions focus on strengthening the reading, writing, and math computation skills of students; while our support services focus on instilling confidence and self-esteem, and building interpersonal skills and an appreciation for learning.
At its core, AMICUS II Inc. is an organization dedicated to nurturing and optimizing the learning and development of under-performing students. Our programs and services are based on the foundation that the potential for success of development, fostering critical and divergent thinking, and creating mutually respectful and cooperative relationships between student and teacher. As an (SES) supplemental educational service provider, we recognize the great variety in learning styles and aptitudes among students. Our program content, structure, and curriculum is designed to be challenging, exploratory, and integrative so that the individual strengths are nurtured and the problem areas are most effectively addressed.
