Description: Welcome to the American School for Women and Children! We have been helping families from other countries, living in Toledo, Ohio since 2003. Our program offers women-only ESL (English as a Second Language) classes. While our moms are studying hard, the little ones are safe and happy in our childcare. It began in January of 2003 in the living room of director, Janelle Metzger, as an outreach to help Middle-Eastern women learn English and adapt to life in the US.
It was named "The American School for Women and Children" by our students to reflect our unique approach of part-time, women-only classes with childcare facilities.
