About the Provider
The first Allisonville School opened its doors in 1828. Over 170 years later, Allisonville continues the tradition of providing a first rate education. The buildings and sites may have changed, but the excellence remains. Today, Allisonville serves over 750 students in the first through fifth grades.
The Staff: A principal and assistant principal make up Allisonville’s administrative team. The faculty is a diverse group of teachers, each bringing unique strengths to our educational program. More than half of our faculty has earned advanced degrees. Our staff includes a Reading Specialist; an ENL instructor; a Special Education support team; a Media Specialist; Art, Music and Physical Education teachers, a Spanish teacher; and technical support personnel. Many Allisonville teachers have been recognized, both locally and nationally, for their outstanding contributions to education.
