I have been very happy with AAK! All three of my children attended when they were young and my grandson now attends. The staff sincerely cares about the children, even the difficult ones; and I'm so appreciative of that. (One of mine fit in that category.) They reinforce the manners and habits I expect of my children at home. I know several other parents who have children there and they are also very pleased with AAK. I have recommended them to several others.
I LOVE AAK! Not only do I love it, both my kids LOVE it there! My son has been enrolled since he was 3 months old, he is 2.5 years old now. My daughter was also enrolled at 3 months, she is 9 months now. They both love all of their teachers. I know I can trust the teachers there, as the majority of them have been there for 20 or more years! My neighbors put all three of their kids in AAK and that was 10 years ago! Most of the kids we see there are long-term students of AAK. We have recommended our friends to put their kids in when they started having babies, too! My has come home with scratches or bruises from rough play BUT they are kids, and they fall! We LOVE them and will never go somewhere else!
At first it was a great place for my child. Then after there were problems, I noticed nothing would be done. They would just pacify me and say Oh "we will take care of it", and say (They are my babies too) and then after that another problem would come up and the same thing. Now after 6 months of this my child and other children were being hit, pushed, scatched by a know "troubled child" and the response was .."We will not give up on any of Gods children", he is just troubled and getting better! Now after being in class with this troubled child one week, my child was hit 3 times! So my thought is my baby is Gods child too...and I don't think I will send him somewhere I know he will be hit by someone else! My next thought was lawsuit" But I withdrew him instead. This is a family owned buisness that is in financial difficulty. Ironically after taking my child to the new school...I see a parent that was previously at "All about kids" said the exact same thing with that child and her son stayed SICK So now her grandson is there too... GREAT MOM DECISION!
