Description: Head Start is a comprehensive child development program that has been successfully serving low-income children and their families for over forty years. It is a child-focused program with an overall goal of increasing school readiness and socialization for young children three to five years old. This is accomplished by providing a rich preschool environment, involving and supporting the family, and connecting with the community. Head Start is administered by the Administration for Children and Families, an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
