Our grandson, Leo Leguy, has attended ALK for about 3 yrs now. He “graduates” this month. His parents and us grandparents know he is very well prepared for public school- socially, academically and emotionally ready. We are grateful he is so cared for at ALK, since we live in FL and hear about his experiences only thru FT calls. Leo has made many friends at ALK with whom he has play dates ( socially distancing since 2020), but more personally as families received vaccines and as play dates usually are outdoors now. When we visit later this month, for his 5th birthday, we expect to see a much more mature kid than we did so long ago in Feb. last year. (2020.) Safe, well-managed, emotionally present staff and leaders make ALK a highly successful environment for our long-distant grandson. We hope to see a Zoom Graduation from your park all the way to our Home in Florida! Please let families know how we can help by listing suggestions for new books, art supplies etc. Some of us may like to help make some of ALKs wishes come true! Regards, Penny and Bernie Dubin (AKA) Mimom and Pipop
I love this center. The staff is warm and caring and after searching lots of childcare centers, this has the most outside time and nature focus. Our family and our daughter love it. I highly recommend!
This program should be shut down. The owner lies. Her own children our out of control and harm the other kids and she blamed mine. My preschooler said mama he hurt me. The place is dirty. Teacher turn over is high.
I have 2 children at this center and LOVE LOVE LOVE all of the activities, learning centers and energy. My kids love the "Music Man" that comes weekly and also talks endlessly about the yoga class. The songs coming home are fun and they outdoor time is awesome! I highly recommend it to any family looking for quality care and fun play based learning!
I love this center! In the past 8 months, there have been visits from the fire dept, field trips to the pumpkin patch, and even an officer led safety demonstration followed by a reading of Green Eggs and Ham! It really gives me piece of mind that there are multiple cameras in each room and I've seen teachers continue their education to keep abreast of new laws and mandates. The teachers there are so loving and sweet with the kids and I feel so comfortable and welcome here!
Beware! I should have noticed the red flags before I enrolled my child. The owner, Kristin, has a horrible time with communication and intellect. My child left after I noticed behavior issues. I could not prove abuse, but I'm certain my child was physically and emotionally abused. The place is very unorganized and is constantly filthy. They sell you on all of the activities, field trips, special attention they give to the children. All lies! Not once did they go a field trip or fun activity. This place has glorified babysitters not educated daycare providers. Think twice before you enter your child/children to this place. Don't say I didn't warn you.
