Moorpark - School History
Opened in 1971, the Moorpark school is located on property that was once a church, and prior to that, a two and a half acre farm. The first classrooms were re-purposed from the original church building and several years later an infant center was added, becoming one of the first private facilities in Santa Clara County to enroll children as young as six months old. More classrooms were added when the campus was extensively remodeled in the early 1990’s and the first kindergarten class began in 1995. Some of the original orchard remains and the farm theme has been maintained throughout the classrooms and infant center.
We see what you see in your child. Our goal is to give children the opportunity to expand their knowledge, to learn about their capabilities and to develop positive ways to express themselves. This starts with a loving and nurturing environment filled with plenty of activities that promote enjoyment and confidence. Children are divided by age group for various infant, preschool and kindergarten activities.
