At our center, we strive to provide a warm and loving environment for both you the parent and your child. We would like for your child to feel like this is their home away from home. During the school year in the morning, we begin our day with the ABeka Curriculum, which is a Bible-based curriculum. This curriculum focuses on God, the family and the world around us. Each day your child will hear of the wonderful things that God has done for us and that He loves each one of them. In the afternoon the curriculum includes art activities, music and movement and centers.
At the Academy at Griffin Harbor we like to make the parents part of a team. Throughout the year we engage in various activities that we encourage the parents to be a part of. Some of these activities include field trips, Mother’s & Father’s Day luncheons and breakfasts, fundraisers, Spring Musical and our wonderful Christmas Program. The teachers may also ask parents to help out with projects or parties from time to time.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.
If you are a provider and you believe any information is incorrect, please contact us. We will research your concern and make corrections accordingly.
