Busy Bees Child Care Center (EMERG OPEN) - Albuquerque NM Child Care Center

This website was brought to my attention recently and I would like to address some of negative comments posted on this site. It's disheartening that 90% of the comments that are on here are individuals that are ex-employees who were terminated or parents that refuse to comply with our policies and procedure. As a parent it is your prerogative to find a center that suites your needs and has policies in place that you agree with, however it does not diminish the level of love and care that Busy Bees provides for every child. Unfortunately we are not able to care for sick children which seems to anger some parents and turn a situation into a bad review. However we adhere by our policies and those of the state of New Mexico, we look out for the best interest of all the families we serve in the greater Albuquerque area. If anything this has opened my eyes to a great learning experience. Parents do your due diligence! Do your homework when considering which child care to choose, but dont limit it to what is said on the internet. You never know who's opinion you're getting! Some issues we cannot avoid, we follow state rules and regulations and some parents are not happy with those rules, but they must be followed in all childcare centers! Go into the centers and do tours, have questions ready about things that are important to you, go to the CYFD website and look at the complaints filed through their office. Out of all of the negative reviews on this site I would ask, how many of you called CYFD to investigate your claims? I will tell you....NONE! Please look into our complaints filed with CYFD they are few and far between, which after being in business for 8 years is exceptional. Of those complaints 99% of them have been unsubstantiated.
We have had hundreds of families in our centers and most of them stay with us for several years and feel like we are all part of a bigger family. I would ask that anyone who is considering Busy Bees to take a look at our Facebook page where you can ask parents that have used our services any questions or ask for input. You will also see several positive reviews that accurately describe what Busy Bees is all about. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHIT OWNED BUSINESS! DIRECTOR/OWNER JENNIFER CORREA/LOPEZ IS THE WORSE TO KEEP YOUR PRECIOUS BABIES IN CARE OF!
THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING THE CLASS ROOMS ALWAYS SMELL HORRIBLE DIRT EVERYWHERE IN THE CLASS FOOD ON THE FLOOR IN THE CORNERS I WORRY ABOUT SMALL BABIES CHOKING ON LEFTOVER FOOD THAT HARDENS BECAUSE THE TEACHERS ARE TOO LAZY TO CLEAN I KID YOU NOT GO INTO THE NURSERY THE HIGHCHAIRS HAVE WEEKS OLD FOOD IN THE HIGHCHAIRS! TOYS ARE NEVER SANITIZED! SICK BABIES IN EVERY CLASS JEN WILL NOT CALL WHEN YOUR BABIES ARE SICK BECAUSE MONEY IS SO IMPORTANT SHE DOESNT WANT TO LOOSE ANY KIDS  ESPECIALLY THE ONES THAT PAY FULL PRICE WITHOUT A CONTRACT FROM CYFD! LIZ HER MOM RUNS THE NURSERY THE WORSE CARETAKER FOR BABIES SHE WILL ABUSE THE BABIES IN A SILENT WAY I FEAR FOR THEM TO BE IN HER CARE I HAVE WITNESS MYSELF HOW ROUGH SHE HANDLES THEM SHE HAS THEM SIT IN DIRTY SOGGY DIAHERRA DIAPERS THAT LEADS TO RASHES SHE WILL DENY IT AND BLAME HER ASSISTANTS SHE NEVER DOES ANYTHING WITH HER KIDS BOTTLES ARE ALWAYS IN THE CRIB CAUSING A BABY TO CHOKE HER GRANDSON WILL BE IN THE. NURSERY HES MEAN TO THE BABIES HE WILL HIT THEM WHEN THEY ARE CRYING SHE DOESNT FEED THEM EITHER! A 10 MONTH BABY SHOULDN'T BE DRINKING ONLY 4 OZ  OF MILK A 2 MONTH OLD BABY SHOULDNT BE EATING SOLID FOODS SHES TOO LAZY TO SPOON FEED  THOSE BABIES SHES ALWAYS GIVING THEM CHIPS TO HUSH THEM UP OR SOMETHING WHERE THEY CAN CHOKE! KEEP YOUR INFANTS AWAY FROM THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR KIDS TO COME HOME SICK WITH DIAHERRA AND RASHES!
DONT EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE KITCHEN THEY HAVE NO STOVE EVERYTHING IS MICROWAVED! ITS VERY UNHEALTHY TO HAVE KIDS EAT MICROWAVED FOOD ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE THERE ALL DAY! THE KITCHEN IS CLEAN YES BUT HAVING MICROWAVE LEFTOVER FOOD IS DISGUSTING!  THEY DONT FOLLOW GUIDELINES OR OPTIONS FOR KIDS THAT HAVE CERTAIN DIET RESTRICTIONS IF YOUR MORE ORGANIC/GLUTEN FREE THEY WANT YOU TO PROVIDE FOOD FOR YOUR OWN KID! EVERYTHING THEY EAT IS UNHEALTHY LOOK OVER THEIR MENU ITS THE SAME THING EVERY WEEK OATMEAL, CHICKEN NUGGETS, ETC.
2 STAFF MEMBER DAISY AND LUCY (TWOS TEACHER) ARE CONSTANTLY YELLING AT THE KIDS THERE! JEN KNOWS IT AND ALLOWS IT YOUR KID WILL BE SLEEPING 5 MINS AFTER WAKE UP TIME THEYLL DRAG THEM UP TO WAKE UP AND START YELLING THE 3S CLASS IS ALWAYS OPENED WIDE ALLOWING KIDS TO RUN OUT OF THE CLASS WHILE THE TEACHER IS ON HER PHONE OR COLORING DOING PROJECTS LAST I CHECKED WERE SUPPOSE TO KEEP OUR EYES ON THE KIDS THERE!  THERES BEEN INCIDENTS WHERE THE YOUNG BOYS WILL TOUCH ANOTHER GIRL IN PRIVATE AREAS THAT WAS NEVER HANDLED CORRECTLY! JEN ALLOWED THEM TO STAY AFTER THE  1ST AND 2ND 3RD TIME THE BATHROOMS ARE THE WORSE THEY DONT SEND A TEACHER IN TO WATCH THE KIDS  BOYS WILL BE SNEAKING OVER TO THE GIRLS SIDE THE PREK TEACHERS AND AFTER SCHOOL TEACHERS SEND THEIR OLDER KIDS IN THE SAME TIME A 2-3 YEAR OLD  IS USING THE BATHROOM I WISH STATE COULD SEE ALL THIS THEN THIS PLACE WILL BE SHUT DOWN FOR NOW IM SURPRISED IT HASNT SHUT DOWN! THEY ARE ALWAYS OVER RATIO JEN WONT HIRE ANY NEW EMPLOYEES BECAUSE SHE LOVES BEING GREEDY WITH THE MONEY THE STAFF THERE WORK THEIR ASSES OFF BUT WONT GET SICK PAY HOW UNPROFESSIONAL! WE ARE TOLD A DOCTORS NOTE WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTED IF YOUR SICK YOU STILL HAVE TO WORK BUT IF ITS HER MOM SHE WILL MAKE SURE  HER MOM GETS SICK PAY SHE PAYS HER DAD TO WORK THERE I WILL REPORT THIS HE DOESNT  DO ANYTHING SO ITS NOT FAIR HE GETS PAID FOR NOT DOING ANYTHING  JEN GOSSIPS SO MUCH ABOUT THE KIDS PARENTS EVERYONE KNOWS THEIR BUSINESS! ONE DAY KARMA WILL COME BACK ON THIS "FAMILY OWNED BUSINESS" WHATS EVEN MORE DISRESPECTFUL IS WHEN YOU WANT TO HAVE A PRIVATE CONVERSATION HER DAUGHTER WILL BE SITTING IN THE OFFICE LISTENING OR WILL BE STANDING OUTSIDE THE DOOR LISTENING AS A MOTHER I WOULD TELL MY KID GO TO CLASS WHERE THEY BELONG! SO UNPROFESSIONAL!

I took my 2 and and after school sons to this daycare in 2016 and was very very pissed I went to my sons classroom Ms.Elizabeth when I walked into the classroom I witnessed her and she is not a small woman very large indeed...being very rough with a gorgeous baby girl too rough I have reported this .In a fury I went to get my son from the after school room down the hall when I walked up to the class Ms.Ashley she was talking on her phone once again this is not the first time and the class was running a muck in complete dissaray also not the first time this so called daycare has no structure is rough and negligent..This happened at the Panorama location not mojntgomery,But Owned by the same person so do not take your children here people .I confronted the Director at the time ms aljanet who pretty much told me I was lying I could not believe it and said her staff was the best ha worst worst place.My children now do not go to daycare because of my awful experience thanks alot

I WISH I COULD GIVE 0 STAR!SO MY CHILD STARTED THIS CENTER I CANT CALL IT A DAYCARE BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO BUSINESS CALLING IT A CHILDCARE CENTER IF THEY CANT CANT TAKE CARE OF A CRYING 10 MONTHS OLD. MY SON WAS GOING FOR ONLY A WEEK AFTER MOVING FROM A 5 STAR CENTER AND HE WAS NOT YET ADJUSTED HE KEPT CRYING WHICH WAS EXPECTED HE IS AN INFANT AND SEEING NEW PEOPLE.I WENT TO PICK HIM UP THEY HANDED ME A LETTER SAID THEY CANT KEEP HIM BECAUSE HE IS CRYING AND TAKING UP 90% OF THERE TIME REALLY HE IS CRAWLING HE HAD NO PLACE TO CRAWL ITS LIKE HE WAS IN A CARDBOARD BOX.BUT THEY DID ME A FAVOR BECAUSE HE IS NOW GOING TO A BETTER 5 STAR CENTER THE SAME ONE HE WAS BEFORE AND THEY HAD NO PROBLEMS THEY ARE CERTIFED AND TRAINED TO DEAL WITH CRYING TEETHING BABIES THESE UNPROFESSIONAL FOLKS DONT KNOW anything they NEED TO BE TRAINED!ON TOP OF THAT THE SAME PLACE ON THE SMALL COUNTER SPACE WERE THE PREPARE INFANTS FOOD AND FORMULA THEY HAVE A CHANGING PAD WERE THEY CHANGE INFANTS HOW GROSS! I SHOULD A RAN AFTER SEEING THAT .BEWARE THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONALS THEY DID NOT EVEN GIVE ME A 24HR NOTICE i am still APPLAUD YET HAPPY AND RELIEVED THEY DONT ASK FOR SHOT RECORDS! SO BABIES COULD BE GETTING SICK FROM GOD KNOWS WHAT STAY AWAY THEY WILL TOSS YOUR CHILD OUT BECAUSE THEY CANT COPE WITH CRYS!

Really good service ms lucy. Ms rachel ms liz and jennifer and the other girls all of them really good people my kids love them.

My daughter came here and shes liked the teacher compared to where she was before. Then I figured if she liked it its safe to bring my newborn son here, BIG MISTAKE once I left work to bring him some diapers when I got there he was sitting in the swing with the blanket over his head of course I had concerrns about that, then I left work early to pick him up and he was in the crib crying his eyes out and Jennifer was just standing there looking at her phone and when she seen me she quickly went to his aid! Since December he's been on and off sick, in and out of the hospital, even caught RSV and the Anode virus and had to stay at the hospital then when he got better I took him back to day care (once we got the release from his doctor) that week he went back he got sick again fever of 103.3(highest) and when I told Rachel(employee) he only gets sick there and I seen little kids coughing and sneezing in the same area as the INFANTS she stated "oh they just have allergies." Then I called the next day and the Director Jennifer got offended saying I called her daycare dirty when in fact I NEVER SAID THAT, and said I will just disenroll your kids. I felt she acted unprofessional being the Director/owner of that place when I was simply voiced my concern my son got sick every time he went back there. My kids will NEVER go back there and anyone that ask I will let them know how bad and unsanitary that daycare is!

I am sorry to see that I am not the only parent that feels this way. I removed my children because the care was worse than a broke down orphanage. The director, Jennifer will try to "whoo" you in but you will soon see that the place is a disgusting mess. I removed my children from this facility after finding countless safety issues, unclean childcare areas and lack of support from teachers and management. I also took the time to do my research by looking them up on New Mexico's CYFD website and various parenting blogs where other parents had worse or similar concerns. Children are not engaged or being taught anything. This may even be worse than a 15 year old kid "watching your kid" while they talk on the phone the entire time. I am very happy with my move to a 5 star daycare facility. My children are happy, learning and in a safe environment.

Horrible the worst daycare the Montgomery location is not that great Lack of activity

Where to begin- As a parent, we would hope that when we go into work, our child is in safe hands. Well, that is not what you will get when coming to Busy Bees Childcare. My first warning should have been the high turnover of teachers and the staff expressing their unhappiness with the director/owner. Next was the countless times I walked into my daughters classroom to find it way over ratio and at times with no teacher in the room at all. There are just so many issues. No kitchen so that means all meals are microwaved, kids being bit yet no record of how or why since the teachers are being held to over ratio rooms and lack of training, multiple safety issues including a parent breaking into the building at the Montgomery location after becoming so angry. (The director told me the name of the parent and child's name, which I will not devolve in respect of their privacy). Days with no lock and not one of us parents being informed until we went up to the director and demanded answers. She then told us that there is not a safety concern and that there was no reason to be upset (We all looked at each other when we left in shock that the director and owner actually did NOT feel that this is something we should have been notified about). One parent called the state and they also informed us that the daycare was not in compliance and that the door was to remained locked by deadbolt until a new security pad was installed. (Prior to that, the door was open for any and all to come in). We also discovered that there were many state complaints and non-compliance reports which could be found on the CYFD survey report. My friend stopped bringing her child there (La Veta Dr NE location) when the bus driver was caught TALKING ON HER CELL PHONE while driving her daughter home from the school! Another parent told me that he brought diapers for his son on a Thursday and by Monday they went missing. Countless parents with the same concerns and we are going to put our foot down and stand up for our children and safety. As parents we have to work but that does not mean that our children should be subject to this type of childcare. PARENTS: please do your research. Look up the childcare ratings, read all reviews, look at the childcare survey on CYFD, tour the facility with a parent check list, etc. BEWARE!!

Absolutely the best family orientated child care! not only do I love the staff but my children do also they are always happy to go and don't cry when I leave. Everyone is friendly and greets you with nothing but smiles and positiveness. It has been such an amazing experience for my children and I. I love having the feeling that I know my kids are safe and in good hands. They have it set up so cozy that makes the children just at peace and relaxation. I love everyone at Busy Bee Child Care and wish I took my oldest there when she was in day care.
