Plan: Licensing typed for director: Director has spoken with all infant class teachers to ensure they understand safe sleep requirements. Director has reached out to parent to receive doctor's note and parental permission for a sleep positioner or elevated mattress for the infant needing accommodations. Until permission is received, director has informed all staff that the child must sleep in a crib. Director will discuss safe sleep requirements again at August training for infant teachers. In the future, if a parent asks program to do something against the requirements book, the program will not comply without first searching for exceptions in the requirements book. If no exceptions are found, the program will follow the requirements book and inform the parents.
