MUST READ IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING THIS DAYCARE!!!
I've been with this daycare for years so believe me when I say I've watched it go from sugar to ... not sugar (for lack of a better word, but we all know the saying) . Ms Mobley, the owner, is a nice lady and personally my children are only here because of her but it is time for a change. The small things I would over look like: my child having on someone else's clothes or my oldest being late to school weekly are no longer tolerable. This place no longer feels like an environment where my children are cared or loved for. As expected, with most daycares teachers come and go. Recently, a group of new teachers started working here and the care seems impersonal. I've instilled my trust into this facility and believed they would care for the development of my children but they have simply become just a weekly tuition payment. Unfortunately, Ms Mobley is hardly at the establishment, but as parents you grow relationships with other teachers there like Ms Atkins and Ms Pounds. It's sad to say they are no longer there, but when the owner is not present it helps to have Teachers like these two & Ms G who have genuine spirits that is felt throughout the place. Currently the place is being ran by young teachers who will place an IPad in front of the class, turn on Peppapig and call that learning. Not to mention Ms Luna, I'm not sure who elected to put her in charge but she's disrespectful, rude, and my children have complained about the things she's said to them. Enough is enough. This place has become more of baby sitters club than a learning institution. At the beginning of the year I was sold a program that would teach my son and prepare him for an actual school curriculum. I have seen little to no progress in his learning throughout the year and the things he has learned are things I've taught him at home. I am truly disappointed in the care from most of the teachers there and I am looking for care elsewhere. If you are looking for affordable care this may be for you but don't sacrifice your child's education to save money.
This learning center is runned by liars. There is no communication. Amongst the teachers my child would cone w
Hime everyday with another childs shurt and when i would ask for the clothes he had on none of the teachers would know. They gave my child something that had peanuts or nuts in it and my toddler was in intoxicated and in hives for two weeks. Even after i informed the director that my child is ALLERGIC TO PEANUTS AND ANY KIND OF NUT. When i asked the directors assistant she gave me one story. And then when i spoke to the director she gave me a different story. Do not take your child here. A couple of times my son would run out of the classroom without an adult. The worst part the teacher didn't notice he left the classroom.... Do not trust these people with your child/ren. I should have known better when i was enrolling my child i should have looked somewhere else after i heard one of the teachers screaming a a child to go to sleep. Stay away from here...
The Director takes pride in this establishment. The children learn English and Spanish when applicable. The staff is hands on and encourages parent interactions.
At a time to love they spend one on one time with my infant son and treat him so well he comes home happy everyday and i see that he learns new things everyday the staff is really nice!!! Love it
