My child attended this childcare center and I would not recommend them to anyone. Per their policy, they keep day sheets for parents detailing diaper changes, nap times, meal consumed, etc letting you know what your child did throughout the day. On more than one occasion I picked my son up early and was given a day sheet that was already pre-filled out. (For example: stating he had a wet diaper at 2:00 pm and was changed) yet I was picking him up at 1:30pm, so how was this completed already? When questioned, i was told that they filled it out because they were going to be changing the diaper. Also I was advised of incidents involving my child with another child, and was not always given a written incident form to sign and acknowledge. On several occasions staff would greet me at the door to get my child upon arrival to the facility, and prior to getting my child they were changing another child's diaper, and did not wash their hands prior to picking up my child from me, only disposed of their gloves. Very unsanitary. On one occasion, the daycare closed due to inclement weather and then in the same week notified me of a positive covid case with a staff member which resulted in my child needing to be out of the facility for 10 days. I understand the need to quarantine but the facility advised me that per their policy I was required to pay full price even though my child only attended 7 hours which was due to their closings. They refused to let me pay hourly stating they were required to charge per state guidelines. Mind you I do NOT receive state assistance and was private full pay. Expecting parents to pay a set amount of full or part time status when they are unable to provide care/ services is unethical, and certainly not a company I want to support.
