This is the best place for children. The staff really love and care for your children. They pretty much potty trained my son when he was 18 months. Currently at 2 years he can count to 20 in English and 10 in Spanish and he sings his ABC's. He knows most of his colors and his shapes. He speaks in complete sentences and has great social skills. I recently had another baby and they totally accommodated with my schedule so I can breastfeed the baby at the daycare in the morning and as soon as I get out work. I even get to feed her during my lunch break. So she is currently only taking one to two bottles the entire day! It is amazing! Also they have no problems with cloth diapers! I can't say enough about this place! I completely trust them with my babies.
My son attended YSA 7 yrs ago. He was 2 yrs old when i had to start looking for a daycare. I visited numerous centers and was horrified by the thought of having to place my son in some of these horribly dark n dingy places. I was about to give up when i found YSA in the phone book. I fell in love with the center as soon as i walked in. It was clean, bright, and you classrooms had glass doors so u could see in without disrupting class. The staff was certified friendly n fun. I now live in the upper valley but recomend that daycare to friends and family in brownsville
Terry and her staff have made our military tour here in South Texas very easy. Our children, 5 and 2, have been here for the last 3 years, and the dedication of this daycare staff has allowed both me and my husband to attend to our military obligations, knowing that our children were well cared for.
From the summer care, that includes various activities throughout the community, to the after school pick-up and drop-offs, I couldn't have been more pleased. Our youngest has begun making her preparations for preschool thanks to her teachers, she is well ahead of the norm.
Terry and her staff have become family. For anyone, military in particular, that is looking for that extra helping hand... this is the place. They truly believe that it takes a village to raise a child.
Love this daycare! It was the best choice I made in choosing a daycare for my daughter, as a first time mom it was hard for me to send her to day care instead of continue to have a relative care for her. I looked around at other daycares and literally cried cause I didn't like it at all. Once I was told about YSA, read. All the reviews and looked for my self I was very satisfied with my choice. They are great with the kids, they treat them
As their own and teach them so much! At a year and 4 months my daughter hardly says real words but you know she is trying to sing the abc and different other songs. They are also very helpful and will work with you if needed. Would recommend to everyone that Is looking for a safe and great place to send your kids.
