The director Tasleem Mirza became physical with my son in my presence. To be clear, he was standing calmly and quietly bedside me when she grabbed him and started pulling him. He was justifiably scared and has continued to be for the past week. We’ve found him a new school and one of his new classmates had experienced a similar experience with Ms. Mirza. She also regularly lies to cover up for licensing investigations and deficiencies.

I reported her to The Department of Family and Protective Services and The Department of Health and Human Services Child Care Licensing division. They came to our home and interviewed our son.

The owner/director is physically inappropriate with the students, has a tendency to fail to follow and meet the minimum care standards, and lies about even incredibly small things. She also broke HIPPA by freely discussing students’ difficulties and family specifics with me during a meeting I set up to discuss concerns I had due to comments both of my children made with regard to inappropriate discipline techniques, shaming students, and making threats. Some people at the school LOVE her but I wouldn’t recommend placing your children in her care.
