Description: St. John's Lutheran Child Care Center is one of South Austin's best kept secrets. We have been in operation since 1967 providing excellent child care for the community. We have always maintained a reputation of being a small family like facility where children are nurtured and loved. Even though the licensing capacity is 65, we are full at 52 children due to our self-imposed low staff/child ratio. We strive to maintain a healthy environment for the children and staff through the installation of an ultra violet light system by UVTronics in the A/C ducts and biweekly classroom treatments. As a result there are fewer absences due to illness.

I really love this daycare. The entire staff is so kind and loving. I love that the kids get a lot of outside time in their shaded playground. They have special days such as water, sensory and dress up days. I feel my child is very safe there, a code locked door, high fences and several watchful eyes. For the care, price, location and hours, you can't beat it in South Austin so close to downtown.
If you are looking for a place to feel good about, this is it. All the teachers are loving and caring. Many employees have been at the Center for a long time, which speaks volumes. They have a UV cleaning system that I belives made a huge difference in illnesses with the kids. I always felt very in the loop on happenings at school.
