Description: School for Little Children: KUMC's weekday ministries program has been providing families in the Kingwood community with early childhood care and education since 1975. The School for Little Children includes a Preschool program and a Mother's Day Out program and is committed to the development of the whole child. Teachers are dedicated, skilled, experienced and receive educational training throughout the year. They strive to help each child develop and grow emotionally, socially, physically, intellectually, creatively and spiritually. The classroom environment is non-pressured and includes developmentally appropriate curriculum. Active learning, problem solving and happy, accepting relationships all work together to provide a positive experience away from home and excitement about learning in a structured environment.
