My 4 year old son was Held down by his Teacher with his hands behind his back while she let all the kids in the class hit, punch & slap him for several minutes while he cried and yelled for help. The other teacher in the class did nothing and watched my son get beat. My son came him that day telling us that he did get hit by the kids but that was it, thinking it was just a minor thing kids playing or fighting o ver a toy we thought nothing of it. I was not notified by Daycare Until about 3 days later another teacher had the courage to speak up and said he walked in on the incident and was told not say anything by the Center's Director and he could not believe that nothing was going to be done or even said to us the parents. I immediately called my husband and told the front office that I needed to speak to the director. Director was never in the office and the teacher that did this to my son suddenly stopped working there. I finally got a meeting with the Director a week later and she told me the teacher that held my son down had been fired but the other teacher claims she didn't see anything when other teachers from rooms next door said that they heard him crying and yelling but didn't realize something like that was going on. I went to police but since my son had no visible evidence they could not do anything but file a compliant. I also took him to the doctor that week but nothing could be found on his body. Per doctor if he had any small bruising a week would be enough time to heal. A cop did accompany down to the center but again Director nowhere to be found. Only thing that was done in this situation was that the Texas Department of Family and Protectives Services was notified and was added as an "Incident" at this day care. Since it has been over 2 years they have since removed this off the online DFPS website. But within these last 2 years they do have other "High Risk" violations as early as April 2015. April 24, 2015- "infant was given over the counter medication with no written directions from medical professional" & "at least one infant was placed on a mattress (who is not walking) in an attempt to combine classes. The classes were combined in order to relieve the caregivers for breaks." People need to made aware of the things that are going on at this facility as well as other's i'm sure of. Hopefully this review will make you think twice before send your babies to just any Daycare center, especially this one.
