The owner got mad when we asked for our checks on payday which she forgot to give us on PAYDAY. We don't have direct deposit to hands us our checks, I asked her nicely if I could deposit it early morning the next day since I had bills to pay while I was leaving. I eventually got told she rolled her eyes at me and gave me an ugly face. I just left since it was time to leave. I didn't get home late that night but I get a called from my dad that my boss dropped off my check at my house after work hours without sending me a text to let me know. My family stated she looked really angry. Next day, I come in at 6:30AM and the owner isn't there but when I come back from the bus route she's there which it's around 8AM. She calls me to her office and asks me if I got my check and I said yes. Later on she tells me to grab my stuff and leave that she no longer needs my service. I kept asking for a real reason and all she told me was she didn't need my service. Keep in mind, they're in the process of hiring! Not only that, she waited until I finish the bus route to fire me. If she had intentions of firing me she could've come in at 6:30AM opening time like I did. After I left, she proceeds to my coworker that happened to be my friend and asks her, "I know y'all are friends, if you want you can leave or stay?" Basically provoking her, my friend proceed to say, "It's not if I want, do you want me here yes or no?" The boss continue to say, "If you want." They kept going back and forth until the boss finally told my friend, "Yeah, you can leave." She fired me out of anger over something so small and something communication could've fixed.
