The Mildred Haupt Preschool is a ministry of Arlington Heights United Methodist Church and operates as a weekday paid tuition program. These classes are offered for young children to meet the needs of both church members and the community at large. Children attending the school are 2 years of age by September 1 through Pre K.
The preschool program provides for the growth and development of the whole child. This approach emphasizes interrelated areas such as intellectual, social, physical, spirtual, and emotional. Emphasis is placed on meeting the needs of individual children in a group setting. Each child experiences success and positive feelings of self-worth at their level of maturity. A love for learning is fostered through a Christian environment, rich in opportunities for growth.
