Marlin Headstart Center EOAC

Head Start is a Federal Program for pre-school children from low-income families. Children who attend Head Start participate in a variety of educational activities. They also receive free medical and dental care, have healthy meals and snacks, and enjoy playing in and outdoors in a safe environment. Head Start experience shows that the needs of children vary considerably from community to community. To effectively serve these children programs need to be individualized. EOAC Head Start is desgined to take into account community resources and to help families face challenges, set goals, and succeed. The EOAC Head Start encourages collaborations with local community agencies in an effort to bring a greater degree of self sufficiency for families in their effort to grow and benefit the community as a whole.
