I am Ms. Jessica the one that some of the comments are referring to. I have to say first of all the majority of the staff have been with Ms.Crystal for several years myself included for 7 years. Yes we all need money but that is not why we continue to work here. In my opinion we have a great team and they enjoy working for and With Ms.Crystal. Also we appreciate our parents who go out of their way to bring things for our parties and at times yes we have a lot of things that we do have to put up we are not able to give everything out all at once but we do distribute through out the week and have other special events during the week for them so that they can continue to enjoy all the treats that they have brought. As for comments about the looks and smell of the building I am one who helps to clean I think the looks and smell for a daycare of 100 children is pretty well kept up with! This makes me sad to hear such negative reviews on things that are not even close to true. I hope that anyone reading theses reviews can look past them and come and check us out and see that we are an awesome center with great staff and an even more AWESOME Director!!!!

I have seen the two recent "5 Star" reviews and let me just say that these were probably written by the owner/or director. This Daycare Of Horrors is a hazardous place for any child. The rooms seem more like tiny "prisons" for these poor kids. The "teachers" aren't qualified or certified in early childhood care. Ms. Crystal is a very harsh woman, she talks down to her employees to the point where even some leave crying. The only reason some of these girls continue working is because they need the money to survive.
I used to work here, and I have seen a lot of concerning things happen at this daycare. First of all, Ms. Crystal is NOT a ray of sunshine. She's a very difficult person to work with. She'll smile at you(or anyone), but the moment you turn your back, WATCH OUT. Ms. Jessica, bless her heart, she's a sweet heart, but she can't do anything without first consulting with the horrible Ms. Crystal. Every room in this daycare smells, everything in the toddler room stinks like a wet, dirty carpet. The toys are falling apart, and so are the books. There's nothing decent for the children to play with. The infant room always smells like an old, dirty diaper and the toys there aren't safe for a small infant. The pre-k(parents, please send your child to a regular school for Pre-K, your children will not learn a thing in this daycare) room is a JOKE! All the books are torn, and old. The toys(same as the toddler room), are broken and a hazard! As an ex-employee, I only say this because I would never send my child to such a terrible place. If you do decide to check out this daycare, make sure you inspect every small detail inside those rooms, don't let Ms. Crystal fool you with her fake, half smile. I also forgot to mention that the lunches they provide are a joke! Please go inside the class room when they feed your child and check it out for yourselves, you'll want to leave with your child asap! And don't ever send cookies or anything for their Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas "parties", because Ms. Crystal will keep everything inside her office for her own personal use.
In response to the two bad reviews below, that information is false, the staff do not get treated bad and the director is not mean to the staff! All the teachers love their jobs or they would not be here. I have worked with little people for a year now and I love my job. I didn't have much experience working with kids in a professional environment and ms crystal the director gave me a chance. I started here helping the infant and toddler class and was able to move up now assistanting the director. I love seeing the kids learn new stuff everyday and how happy they get when they see me in morning! All the kids have grown on me and my son. The teachers truly love their jobs and they get along with the kids so well. As a parent with a child here I'm very happy, my son gets so happy when he sees his teacher and he is learning so much. His teacher is even helping him walk now! I would recommend this place to anyone teacher or parent. I hope to stay the company as long as I can.
I have worked with the Little People's company for over 6yrs and I love working for them. I enjoy working with all the children and am blessed to have them be part of my everyday life. This center has a wonderful director that truly appreciates not only the children and the many families but also the staff. She goes above and beyond to make sure that everyone is taken care of and treated fairly. She also strives to make this center a learning environment that is filled with fun while the children learn. I am fortunate to not only have my child be a part of the Little People family since he was 10 months old but myself be a part of this company also. We have a great atmosphere with teachers and a director that truly do care about our children and families.
Love it! Great people! Mrs. Crystal has always treated us great I have no complaints! My kids love the teachers and the daycare. I love seeing the same faces in staff not different teachers all the time.
Definitely recommend this place (can't always go off what you read) definitely worth checking out!!
I feel bad for the staff they get treated bad I've heard while dropping off my daughter some have to stay at work on their break and can't leave because the director says. You can tell on their faces they don't love their job some teachers are ok
2nd the review below staff do get treated horrible director is and administration are rude and fake if your child misses the whole week and you already paid you don't get a refund and plus the lunch is horrible it's nothing but fast food they give the kids no fridge or nothing for the kids no kitchen.this place really needs a new director!!!!! But the teachers are good with the kids especially ms Jessica

I have been bringing my children here for about three years so I must say they have pretty much been brought up with these wonderful ladies. I love the fact that I see the same faces and there is not a huge turn over in staff. They treat the children as if they were their own they love each and everyone.
NEVER SEND YOUR BABY HERE! This center is not a place you would want your child to be. It states that it upholds christian vaules and happens to also be on the grounds of a very good church, with a very good pastor, however, this center houses a very hostile director, Vicki Hodges,and her sidekick Crystal who are both rude, unprofessional,and ungodly women you will ever come in contact with. Ever since Crystal got to this location, the director uses her as her "hide behind" person, and Crystal refuses to address matters or concerns as a perosn tending to the "front desk" and issues on school grounds should. She feels she is the director because Ms Hodges allows her to run the grounds as she pleases. My child here on several ocassions was exposed to indecent talk about homosexuality, perverted incidences at home, and inapporpriate talk which sent my child home with many disturbing questions. After bringing these concerns to these 2 I was assured many times it would be addressed, and these kids' parents would be called in...NEVER, they claimed it was appauling and so hard to believe. What we continued hearing began to get worse & worse with our child and it was evident that these other kids were completely out of line and our child was in an undafe enviroment being around these older exposed to foul talk & language. Finally, my frustration toward this out of line behavior for these older kids around my child became more of a hassle for them and in turn made them become dismissive, rude, offended, and my child was taken out. Please beware that this director has more than one loaction and can tend to be deceiving especially with the director and her deceiivng soft voice she uses. Thankfully my child no longer attends this daycare. And yes! they cater for the food there, but their food is horrible for the children. They have no facility for a kitchen and the catered food is cold, discolored very unapetizing by the time it is in the childrens hands. Just many factors to consider at this place please do your research before deciding on this place.
Little people's learning center, es una guarderia horrible La marrana o directora si es k asi se le puede llamar es muy mala y tiene un modo muy chocante es muy despota, yo tuve a mi niña 2 meses y no m gusto como la cuidaron, durante esos 2 meses ella no comia lloraba mucho, y siempre llegaba aruñada y con aruños d adultos. Las muchachas son hipocritas delante de los papas dicen hola bebe Pro luego k se van los dejan llorar mucho ah y no les dan de comer.. Los malpasan mucho. :-(
Little peoples learning center is nothing but a hassle . The woman that wprks in the front is completely rude and distespectful! My kid comes home woth bruises and they dont even care! My suggestion dont take ypur kid here !!!
