Kosmic Kids

Kosmic Kids is a great facility. I've been with them for years. Every kid has incidents and it has always been handled fairly. I noticed that in the summer of last year, they have changed directors and everything is so much better. Not that the old director was bad, but sometime change at the right time is good. I would recommend anyone to attend this facility. You don't have to take the positives from my experience nor the negative from others. But take the opportunity to have a great experience yourself. All of our kids are precious. Some are a little more active than others and some may have experience neglect from a previous environment unknown to all of us and this care center/learning center really cares about protecting them all.

My child has been going here for nearly a year, and everything was going fine until the first incident that occurred this year. Another boy in her class had spit in her face while she was sitting down minding her own business eating. Once my mother went to pick her up from school, the teacher stated that "she would go ahead and tell my mom what happened before my child did." The teacher's first mistake was basing her reasoning on my child. We should have been notified sooner because to spit in someone's face is just down right disgusting. I went and spoke to the director of the daycare, and she knew absolutely nothing about the issue. Not only would the teacher have kept it a secret if my child wasn't old enough to talk, but she did not write up an incident report. So after going back and forth with the director regarding the teacher's mishap, the director's solution was to allow the other child's parents to handle the situation. Maybe a month or so later, the child spit in my daughter's face AGAIN.!! I understand that they are only toddlers and they get into things, but I will not accept that excuse any longer. The daycare should of had some type of procedures in place for these type of situations. I went to speak with the director and of course she was not there. The only thing anyone could tell me is that they made the little boy apologize. But an apology means nothing at this point especially after his 2nd offence towards the same person. I was furious, and told them that my daughter would not come back until something was resolved. Do you know that I have yet to receive a call from them trying to solve the problem. It has been nearly a week, and they are still conducting business as if nothing ever happened. They are only concerned with money, because if they really cared about my child they would have made an effort to reach out after it happened. I refuse to allow my child to attend a facility that only looks at her as dollar signs and not as a human being. My daughter will not return to this facility EVER AGAIN, and I do not recommend it to anyone.!!!!
