I have 3 kids of mine in this daycare I'm very pleased with all the workers they treat my kids very well they are learning a lot as well. I'm recommending this daycare to everyone.... Very great point that I like the daycare is very well organized
I had a bad experience with this establishment as well. My son is enroled there on a part-time basis. Basically when HISD is out for the holidays. My initial visit was great. My son actually stayed there one day. The 2nd time he neeeded care was just before Thankgiving 2014. I called to confirm I would drop him off, no problem. 2 days prior it was determined I would not need to drop him off afterall. I gave them a curtesy call to let someone know. An only Spanish speaking woman answered. I politely asked to speak to someone who spoke English, and she quickly became annoyed giving me verbal sighs. She handed over the phone to another staff member. When I introduced myself, I suppose how I pronounced my name sounded like I spoke Spanish. She made some comments I couldn't understand and hung up on me. I called back immediately and they let it go to voicemail. I left a detailed message and requested a callback if they would like to continue recieving my business. I recieved no such call. My advice to this business it to realize not everyone speaks Spanish and Spanish speaking only employees should not answer the phones if they are not prepared to professionally hand over the customer to an English speaking staff. Completely unprofessional in my opinion. We will no longer utilize this care provider.
I would rate this place 10 stars as far as my experience. I have never had any problems with the director of HKA. The staff is wonderful. Ms. Maribel is a staff member that my daughter is so attached to. They are all really without a dought great people. I trust them with my daughter 100% I wouldn't even think about changing daycares. They helped me potty train my daughter and in no time it was no more pampers. Hip hip horray. My daughter has learned so much at daycare. She knows her alphabet, shapes, colors, numbers to 20, days of the week in english and spanish and I cant even believe she knows the months as well in english and spanish. My daughter surprises me with songs that they have taught her. She is 3 1/2 to this date. My daughter has been attending since 5 monhs old. I would recommend them to everyone.

I visited houston kidz center prior to enrolling my 2 yr old daughter. I met with a lady on friday to see the fees and programs that is offered at Houston Kidz center. I was told one price on friday but on Monday when i came to enroll my daughter the director was not end and the lady that took my payment charged me a different fee than what was quoted on Friday. at that time i explained to the lady i was not happy with that especially i am expecting one fee and then presented with a different fee. I proceeded to pay for my daughter tuition for the week and asked the lady questions about there security and camera system. I asked her did they have the same accomodations with viewing your child from the computer or your phone like Kids r Kids she said they are in progress and she showed me my daughter room. I left and went to work and explained to her i would have my daughter doctor to fax her shot record or she can have them forward by immtrax. later on that day the director calls me at work and i ask her about the fees that is on the brochure. 2yr old $ 135 and 3 yr 125 I told her my daughter will be 3 in 3 weeks will i get the 3 yr old rate. she told me no because she has to be enrolled at 3 to get the rate I said i didnt like that she said she would give me my money back and i could find a different daycare i told her i would think about it once i picked up my daughter. I went to pick up my daughter and the director greets me to tell me she wants to talk to me about dismissing my daughter from their school because is was to strong and challenging for the lady that morning. she also said the lady i spoke to this morning felt fearing at that time this morning but she allowed me to visit the campus. I explained to her if the lady felt uncomfortable with me why would she allow me to be on the campus with all those kids. if they felt endangered. she could not answer. I was very disappointed because they did not think enough about the children and their safety, to allow a deranged woman in their point of view to be among the children,she also had a problem because i did not consent to the dental screening and medical screening they offered nor the water activities and transportation. I just not comfortable with them at this time to place that form of responsibilty on them with my child. they told me my child could not be apart of the program because i dont consent to them. I explained to them I am a strong concerning mother that dont yah to everthing. I question for clarity. she did not like that.I am very concerned about this school because it just dont seems right to dismiss a child because you have a cautious mother.wow I just love my daughter too much to fully turn her over in people hand less that 24 hours. without getting to know them better. I m just not that kind of mother. she told me I a strong mother. that place frowns on my face . bottom line they ar very wrong. im not mad at them nor am I m trying to bad mouth them but i didnt have a pleasant experience and will not encourage other for this company.
