Description: First Methodist Day School is a weekday mission of the First United Methodist Church. We strive to meet the needs of young children and families by providing a safe, nurturing Christian environment and educational program that addresses all areas of development-intellectual, social, physical, emotional and spiritual.
FMDS offers three and five day programs for children ages 18 months through 4 years old. Our school day begins at 8:30 and goes until noon every day. We have Extended Enrichment availible for all ages from noon to 5:30. Early drop off begins at 7:15. In most instances, we will follow the Marshall ISD school calendar for holidays and spring break. Our Camp SONshine summer program begins in June and runs 11 weeks.
Camp SONshine includes many summer activities such as water days, pizza days, creative arts, Bible lessons and other special events.
Where possible, ChildcareCenter provides inspection reports as a service to families. This information is deemed reliable, but is not guaranteed. We encourage families to contact the daycare provider directly with any questions or concerns, as the provider may have already addressed some or all issues. Reports can also be verified with your local daycare licensing office.

My granddaughter attends First Methodist Day School. It has been a fantastic experience for her. She has become more outgoing and has learned so much. Thanks to all the caring workers at the day school. YOU ARE AWESOME!
