First Presbyterian Church Kindergarten

The First Presbyterian Kindergarten and preschool has been pioneering early childhood education in Terrell, Texas since 1965  We offer classes for three through five year olds and an after school program. We also offer an extended day and full day childcare for families. The classroom facilities and playground area is outstanding with new things add each year. 



First Presbyterian Kindergarten is a faith based school that is fully licensed by the State of Texas. Each staff member completes 20+ hours of continuing education hours each year. Our teachers and staff are experienced educators in early childhood development, literature and whole-language curricula, and elementary teaching methods, we use Frog Street Press or Creative Circuulum. We have chapel weekly and provide spiritual guidance to help teach childern how to make better choices.



The City of Terrell teachers are witnesses to the quality start these children receive -- as year after year our former kindergarten graduates will graduate from High school ranking top in their class.
