East End Preschool and Kindergarten

East End Preschool is a non-profit parent cooperative preschool and partial day kindergarten. Our small classes and individualized attention encourage a creative, expressive environment while nurturing a sense of independence and ownership of the process of learning. We have a center based teaching style which enhances cross curriculum learning with lessons organized around themes. Class curriculum incorporates sensory exploration, language & reading, fine motor & gross motor skills, science, art, music & movement, and math readiness. Our children make discoveries about themselves and the world around them while accepting and respecting differences in people.

EEP’s exemplary staff are experienced in early childhood development and are carefully selected by our Parent Board.

Being a parent co-operative, every EEP parent is a member of our organization. Input and assistance with fundraising and operational decisions is encouraged and appreciated with hundreds of smiles.
