Description: Crossroads Montessori Academy is a family owned and operated private preschool. Crossroads Montessori was opened to provide an alternative to the large chain and public preschools. These preschools place as many students with one teacher as the law will allow in order to maximize profits. Many place 18 children with one teacher.

Working with the students and other teachers was very rewarding. All materials for classroom activities are provided by management which is helpful.
This is a very small business and there is no room to move up. Raises happen once a year. You will not qualify for pto until after being employeed for six months. The Owner/Director has a habit of asking employees to leave early after turning in their two week notice. When informing her that I would be leaving the company after two weeks, she asked me if she could tell the students parents that I was moving. The reason I left was because I was offered a better job; and she knew that. Unfortunately, she is not honest, nor helpful. Sadly, she cannot keep help for more than a few months. This is not an ideal long term job.
Discrimination!! Got told in a voice mail that I will not longer work at CMA. With no reason other then I put my two weeks in on Tuesday. I call the owner Megan on Wednesday explaining my condition and how I could not come into work . When 2 other white teachers called out sick the previous day and also one of them also put their two weeks in. It just shows how The owner decided to put her anger out on me and let me go.
Also they have a mice problem and haven't changed your water filter that we gave to the children in months. The water filter is dirty. They leave all their snacks open so the mice go all into it.
