Description: Mission Statement Believing that each person is a child of God and therefore worthy of love, acceptance and support, Lake Highlands United Methodist Church (LHUMC) provides a weekday program for young children as a part of the ministry to the congregation and evangelistic outreach to the community. Our purpose is that children are nurtured in a Christian atmosphere, are given the opportunity to be touched by this ministry and, therefore, may be drawn into the fellowship of the congregation.
